YOUTH PROGRAM
Make a commitment to volunteer during meetings and special events throughout the year. We ask that volunteers commit to a minimum of 20 hours annually.

VOLUNTEER TODAY
Volunteer opportunities are available in all areas of Men & Women of Characters programs and services. We are excited to open opportunities for adults ages 18 and older to volunteer with our youth programs.
​
As a volunteer, you will take part in volunteer training to ensure that you are comfortable working with our youth and the senior citizens we partner with. You will gain satisfaction by sharing your knowledge with youth and watching them grow and become hardworking active members of our community.

Please follow the steps below to become a volunteer with our organization:

Step 1: Complete the attached volunteer form. Please be sure to fill out all areas of the form as this can speed up or delay the process.
Step 2: Sign up to have your background check completed
Step 3: Attend a New Volunteer Training.
Step 4: Meet with our Leadership Team to set hours you will volunteer and/or lessons you would like to teach.
Step 5: Welcome to your first meeting!
Be a Mentor
Mentors commit to working with youth throughout the school year. Time spent can be during and outside of MWCORG meetings and events.
TEACH A WORKSHOP
Volunteers can also teach workshops during meetings and special events. Our leadership team must approve workshop topics before being presented. Donations are not always in the form of money.
